The Windsor South Rib & Beer Festival officially debuts at the Devonshire Mall this weekend.

This year, the Northern Heat Rib Series is bringing more than just world-class BBQ to the community. While the heart of the festival remains the legendary rib teams – Kentucky Smokehouse, Texas Jack’s BBQ Pit, Memphis Blazin’ BBQ, and newcomers to the festival, there is much more planned.

This year’s event is designed for all-day stay, featuring a Mechanical Bull for those looking to test their grit and a Golf Simulator hosting a high-stakes Long Drive Competition. For families, the Kids Zone will feature a variety of fun and interactive games to keep younger
guests entertained all throughout the day. The Forge Bar-BQ will be serving up authentic BBQ all weekend long.

Guests can also enjoy tons of new tented, shaded seating and a brand-new cooling misting station, ensuring the whole family stays chill even when the grill is hot.

“We’ve reimagined the festival layout this year to prioritize guest comfort and variety,” says Robyn Wilson, owner and event organizer. “From the Budweiser Live Stage to our new interactive games, we’ve created a space where the community can truly connect and celebrate together.”

While enjoying a drink, fans can head over to the Budweiser Live Stage for a weekend-long lineup of homegrown talent, tribute acts, and a mix of rock, country, and mash-up favourites.
