This weekend Windsor’s oldest and most historic neighbourhood is being celebrated, with the 25th Olde Sandwich Towne Festival.

The three days festival kicked off Friday evening.

Sunday will continue with activities for children and live musical entertainment off the main stage, plus a bouncy castles and games for families.

All weekend area restaurants will have extended patios, and a showcase from the Essex County Medieval Heritage Society, The Sandwich Farmer’s Market which will also have live entertainment, there will be vendors along Sandwich Street, hay rides, buggy rides, a live fish pond, chain saw demonstration, balloon twisting and much more.
