The skies above Windsor and Detroit came alive Monday night as thousands gathered along the waterfront to watch the 68th annual Ford Fireworks over the Detroit River.

Brilliant colours and thunderous bursts illuminated the night sky during the nearly 25-minute display, dazzling spectators on both sides of the international border.
