LaSalle Strawberry Festival Parade To Be Moved
LaSalle town administration is looking a a temporary relocation of the 2026 LaSalle Strawberry Festival parade due to ongoing construction along Front Road.
The parade will take place on Saturday, June 13th, starting at 10:00am, using Laurier Parkway and the surrounding roads near the Vollmer Complex. Temporary road closures will be in effect along Laurier Parkway at Malden Road and Disputed Road on June 13th from 9:30am to 11:00am to support safe and accessible parade operations.
“The relocation of the parade reflects the Town’s commitment to adapting to construction impacts while continuing to deliver our community events,” says Patti Funaro, Director of Culture and Recreation.
A report will be presented at the Tuesday, May 26th, 2026, Regular Meeting of Council seeking approval of the temporary road closures. Advance notice of all closures will be shared, and clearly marked detour routes, will be in place to help minimize traffic disruptions.
The LaSalle Strawberry Festival will take place from June 11th to 14th, 2026, featuring live entertainment, a carnival, fireworks, food vendors, and family-friendly activities.
